The Information Service is available to anyone seeking information about HD and has been a trusted source of information to the community for over 45 years.
Access to this service is available through a number of different streams including our confidential telephone service. If you have a question or concern that you would like to discuss please contact us Monday to Friday during business hours.
Alternatively, we have a website that hosts up-to-date information relevant to our community, which can be accessed anytime, anywhere. Through our website, you can also send us an email if you have a question that isn’t answered by the details on our website.
Facebook and social media is another way in which information can be accessed. Through these platforms, we share details on HV events, campaigns, and research updates. If you have a question or would like to provide us with feedback, you can send us a private message.
Huntington’s Victoria provides professional education sessions to external agencies about HD/the impacts of HD as well as sessions tailored to a specific need or request. These sessions can take place via skype, teleconference, be agency-based or at the Huntington’s Victoria office.
These sessions are fee-for-service with the costs of these sessions outlined below:
$250 for up to 10 attendees and an additional $15 per person thereafter
Travel costs are charged at $54 per hour of travel (based on standard NDIS hourly rates).
Please note that for groups of 30+ or those that are more than 3 hours out of Melbourne, we are able to negotiate costs or recommend utilising Skype or teleconference.
