Driving and Other Transport Options |

At the time of the onset of symptoms of Huntington's Disease (HD) in adulthood, most people will have subtle, though distinguishable, changes in their level of functioning. Most of these peoples will be licensed drivers and there is no reason to believe, based solely on a diagnosis, that their ability to drive has been compromised. Yet, at the other end of a progressive process of loss of neurological function, which may extend over decades, virtually every person with HD will be unable to drive safely.
