Many people living in rural Victoria feel isolated, lonely and develop an attitude of ‘we will just have to make do.’ You are not alone. Huntington’s Victoria can connect you to the support you need. Community Health ServicesWe recommend as the first step to always make contact with your GP. Your local community health centre will be able to provide you with some advice on where to find local services. Some centres can also provide assistance via Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and Speech Pathologists. Your local hospital is also a good starting point if you need immediate attention for a specific health problem. Your local Disability Services are also an excellent resource. They can help you in locating other relevant services and to also link you up with specific funding and care options. All of these services can be found in your local telephone book. » Disability Intake and Response » Crisis phone services » Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme (VPTAS) Huntington’s Victoria services
