One of the most important roles of an association is to represent the views of the members at government forums and in the media. As a member of an association, every person has the chance to have their voice heard by participating in focus groups or surveys which tell us what your views are on important issues. Inquiry into better support for carers

In July 2008 Huntington’s Victoria made two submissions on behalf of the Huntington’s Community to the Federal Parliamentary Inquiry into Better Support for Carers.

Supported Accommodation inquiry

In November 2008, Huntington’s Victoria was invited, as part of a joint submission with MS Australia, the Young People In Nursing Homes Initiative and Parkinson’s Victoria, to make a submission at the state Parliamentary Inquiry into Supported Accommodation.
