In Victoria up to 400 families have a member that is affected by HD and it is estimated that over 2,500 people are at risk of inheriting the disease. Up to 3,000 more people are impacted – including carers, family members and their support networks.
Without our service, education for professionals and tailored support for people affected by HD is extremely limited and almost nonexistent. Through our specialist staff and services, we:
