Anglicare Victoria Provides emergency food and material aid.
Centrelink Advises on government disability, sickness and carers' payments. Read our guide to Centrelink
Wesley Mission Credit Helpline Advises community workers and consumers about credit and debt problems.
Good Shepherd Youth and Family Service Provides emergency accommodation and other services.
Salvation Army Provides emergency financial assistance, clothing, house furnishings and shelter.
Utility Relief Grant Scheme Provides once-off assistance for domestic customers who are unable to pay their gas, electricity or water bills due to a temporary financial crisis. Conditions apply. Apply to your utility supplier.
Victorian State Concessions A number of concessions are available through the State Government in relation to Energy, Hardship, Rates & Property, and Water. Superannuation & Insurance for People with Disabilities

Paid superannuation from your employer has been compulsory since 1992. If you have been employed since 1992 and at time of employment was between the ages of 18-70yrs you would have been entitled to superannuation.

Early access to superannuation and superannuation disability benefits can be difficult to navigate but when accessed can provide significant financial relief to you and your family.

Office of the Public Advocate

The office of the Public Advocate (OPA) was established by the Victorian State Government as an independent statutory body to promote and protect the rights, interests and dignity of individuals with a disability.
